Langevin observers rotate with angular velocity ω about the axis of symmetry r = 0. In an ordinary cylindrical chart, these appear as helices. The figures shows that, as depicted in the Born chart, Langevin observers see a central observer "displaced from his true position" because they must look ahead to compensate for their motion.
